Bottega Bogna was founded by Marta Bogna-Drew after more than two decades directing strategic communications and PR campaigns across the global design and cultural sectors for international PR agencies.

Marta’s formation in communications began with a degree in semiotics under Umberto Eco at the University of Bologna, followed by postgraduate studies in economics and arts management, and a master’s degree in art history from the University of London.

She began her career managing exhibitions for a London contemporary art gallery before moving into press and media relations, working both in-house and within leading PR agencies. Over the years she developed extensive experience advising clients across the creative industries.

Marta is known for her straightforward approach, strong instinct for storytelling and deep understanding of tactical positioning. She brings an extensive network of contacts across international media and the creative industries, enabling her to connect clients with influential platforms and audiences that are truly relevant to each individual case.

Drawing on broad experience across the creative industries, she works comfortably across sectors and disciplines, advising organisations operating at the intersection of culture, design and the built environment.

Alongside her work as an independent consultant, Marta also acts as a fractional communications lead or head of communications, working as an extension of in-house teams.
